Hanukkah
Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day celebration in late November or December by many Jewish families.
It commemorates a miracle in Jewish history when a sacred light burned for eight days. To remember this miracle, families light a menorah (a candle holder with eight candles), with one new candle lit each night.
Hanukkah traditions include playing dreidel games, enjoying delicious foods like latkes and doughnuts, and spending time with family!
