Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa is a seven-day celebration from December 26 to January 1 that honors African American culture and community.
Each day of Kwanzaa represents a principle like unity, creativity, or self-determination. Families light a kinara (a candle holder with seven candles) and reflect on these values while celebrating with music, dances, storytelling, and traditional foods that honor African roots!
