Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is celebrated by many Asian communities, including those in China, Vietnam, and South Korea. It marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and usually falls in late January or early February.

Families decorate with red lanterns for prosperity, enjoy traditional foods, and give red envelopes with money as a symbol of good wishes. The festivities end with the Lantern Festival, where people light lanterns and enjoy parades with dragon and lion dances!
