Principal's Message

Dear Bret Harte Families,

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! My name is Lucia Bowers, and I’m honored to join the Bret Harte community as your new principal. As a former Bee myself, I remember Bret Harte as a joyful, supportive school that shaped much of who I am today. Back then, our motto was “the school that buzzes with enthusiasm.” I’m thrilled to see that Bret Harte's enthusiastic spirit is as strong as ever: along with our amazing Bees and their families, this school’s hive is filled with people ready to support our students and make their years here memorable. I share that enthusiasm and look forward to working with all of you!
